Master student Daniëlle van Voorst has been doing an internship at our office for a few weeks now. Her academic journey began with a four-year HBO law degree, after which she decided to continue her law studies at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Daniëlle is currently completing her master's degree in Private Law there (the same master's degree that mr. Wildeman followed at the time, also […]
In addition to her dedication to her studies, she has also gained almost five years of experience as a legal advisor at a leading trade association for retailers. This role has not only provided Daniëlle with practical knowledge and skills, but also with in-depth insight into the legal challenges that organizations face in practice.
Last year, Daniëlle visited the island with her family and her passion for diving was born. It was therefore easy when she heard that she could also do her internship abroad to choose Curacao.

In my first week, I was immediately thrown in at the deep end by Didi. I had to write a substantiation for a request for suspension, a pleading on contract law and a memo on family law. Every day is busy and different, I really like that. I learn a lot from Didi and that makes me even more enthusiastic about working as a lawyer in Curaçao every day. To be continued…”
